MMDA Acting Chairman, Atty. Don Artes emphasized the importance of conducting these road works during the Holy Week break, citing the fewer vehicles on the road during this period. "The clearance for the 24-hour road works aims to strike a balance between maintaining infrastructure and minimizing disruptions and inconvenience to motorists after the significantly religious holidays," he said.
For those planning to travel within Metro Manila during this period, staying informed about the road works and planning alternate routes ahead of time can help ensure a smoother journey. As always, vigilance and patience are key when navigating roadwork and heavy traffic.
